CTZ.2.3.040 Confidentiality

(a) All Citizenship Committee activity is highly confidential. Committee members and employees of the Citizenship Services Department are to respect the confidentiality of all records, conversations, and other interactions.

(1) Members of the Citizenship Committee shall sign a confidentiality agreement and shall be bound by the terms of such agreement. Violation of this section shall be reported to the Citizenship Committee who shall immediately investigate and issue a written finding to the Tribal Governing Board. Such finding may be the basis for removal from the Citizenship Committee.

(2) Employees of the Citizenship Services Department shall sign a confidentiality agreement and shall be bound by the terms of such agreement. Violation of this article may result in immediate termination or other disciplinary action pursuant to the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Governmental Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual.
