CSV.1.10.040 Daily Bag Limits and Possession Limits

(a) No member or duly authorized non-member shall take any migratory bird in any one day in excess of the daily bag limit for that species or in excess of the aggregate daily bag limit, whenever such limits apply as established by the Tribal Governing Board.

(b) No member or duly authorized non-member shall possess migratory birds taken within the exterior boundaries of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and off-reservation lands under the jurisdiction and purview of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe in excess of the possession limits for that species, whenever such limits apply as established by the Tribal Governing Board.

(c) For purposes of enforcing bag and possession limits under this subchapter, all migratory birds in a member's possession or custody within the exterior boundaries of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and off-reservation lands under the jurisdiction and purview of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe will be considered to have been taken on those lands, unless tagged by a tribal, Commission or state conservation warden as taken off-reservation in the ceded territory. No migratory bird falling on ceded territory lands will be counted as part of an on-reservation bag or possession limit.
